Our Lerner School for autism is state of-the-art and serves students from the earliest age of their diagnosis through 21. We offer full day year-round programs that focus on the development of our studentโ€™s communication, socialization, and academics.

We are looking for a Behavior Analyst to join our growing team. We focus on delivering exceptional, compassionate care to our students and their families, helping our students reach their fullest potential. In this role, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Performing intakes and assessments for patients, as well as developing and monitoring their treatment plans.

  • Participating in training and supervision of staff as needed.

  • Maintaining compliance with appropriate policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in intake process for potential students/clients, conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop and monitor treatment plan/goals, and generate and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Initiate and complete functional behavioral assessments, develop behavioral treatment plans, and monitor progress on plans, and making modifications as needed.
  • Participate in new and ongoing staff training, conduct BCBA and RBT/CBT supervision, train staff/parents on goals and plans, and conduct ongoing fidelity checks; lead community workshops and present at local conferences.
  • Communicate with parents, educators, insurance companies, and other professionals regarding progress and submit required documentation; maintain compliance with appropriate policies and regulatory standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

**Education:

  • Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education or related field required.

**Certifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst required and Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) required within 6 months of employment.

**Competencies (Complexity of Work):

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions in volatile situations.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum three years of experience working with individuals with autism utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis required.
  • Minimum three years of experience working with varying ages and ability levels, conducting behavioral assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, and training parents and staff preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting students, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination, physically able to manage students of varying weight and sizes.
  • Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing.
  • May be exposed to communicable diseases.

**Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
