This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

The Financial Analyst works on problems /projects of moderately complex scope. He/She gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives . Has to drive the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives.

How you will make your mark:

• Provide moderately complex financial analysis that is either transactional or analytical for a financial function or a business. Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to actively ensure financial analysis needs are met.
• Handle more complex business issues.
• Provide analytics to business initiatives.
• Act as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input.
• Develop a deeper understanding of HPE's financial processes and a detailed knowledge of the business.
• Identifies issues and proposes solutions.

About you:

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Good analytical skills and strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Fluency in English language
• German language is a very strong advantage
• University Degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or

accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in financial activities is an advantage
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Customer oriented attitude
• Ability to make quick and informed decisions
• Proactive and able to work under pressure
• Ability to operate effectively within a virtual (cross-cultural) team
