QA Engineer

Huntsman’s Polyurethanes division is now looking for a QA Engineer. This QA Engineer is

• To Assist the quality manager, responsible for the establishment, operation management and maintenance of the quality system of the Tianjin factory (including but not limited to ISO9001 and IATF16949), responsible for daily quality assurance, and timely and efficient way to meet the requirements of the factory's production process and factory customers, assist in auditing suppliers and receiving audits from all parties. With the support of the quality manager, responsible for the resolution of product-related customer complaints, raw material problems and non-conforming product problems.

This role is located in Tianjin Nangang.

As the QA Engineer, you will:

• Implement environmental, health, and safety ("EHS") regulations and analysis plans to achieve company goals.
• Support the quality manager to establish and maintain the TJ factory company's quality assurance program to ensure the operation of the quality management system in accordance with professional standards and related certified quality systems (including but not limited to ISO9001 and IATF 16949).
• Together with the Quality Manager, proactively solve the analysis problems and determine the activities and analysis activities required in the case of major failures affecting production order conflicts, quality problems and other similar problems.
• Make sure to select professional samples and perform appropriate analysis to assist in troubleshooting the factory.
• Work closely with the technical service team to communicate deviations between products and technical indicators, find and solve these problems.
• Improve TJ factory's awareness of product quality and management related issues.
• Regular quality inspection related audits, such as raw material suppliers, toll manufacturers, drumming and warehouse operations, etc.
• Assist the quality manager in customer complaint investigation and root cause analysis.
• Assist in the audit of suppliers and accept quality audits on the factory from all aspects.
• Assist the quality manager to solve the quality questions and complaints of customers about the product quality in accordance with the laboratory's testing and analysis of product quality.

Skills and experiences required:

• University Degree or above, majored in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Quality, or related.
• Two or more years relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing facility, or related, One or more year supervisory experience.
• Able to implement in a practical way procedure within a production laboratory environment at an operating level.
• Analytical and logical mind with an ability to develop conceptual ideas through use of limited information for problem solving.
• Proficient at active face to face communications skills at an operational level as required.
• Ability to speak good English is an advantage.
• Familiar with ISO9001 standard and technical specification for ISO/IATF16949
• Master SPC/MSA/FMEA/ APQP/PPAP and auditing knowledge
