THE ROLE

Are you passionate about designing user-centered solutions that drive business impact? Beamery is looking for a Mid-Level Product Designer to join our dynamic team. This is a contract to permanent opportunity and you must be available immediately.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing intuitive, high-impact workflows that help our customers excel in the talent acquisition space. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers and engineers, making informed, high-quality design decisions. Reporting to our VP of Design, you'll also gain a deep understanding of talent teams and their unique challenges.

Our design team, (around 10 people) is empowered by a strong design culture, built on principles and values that ensure quality, foster creativity, and encourage continuous learning. We take pride in our robust design system and DesignOps support, which streamlines the design process and maintains consistency across our products.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape best practices, craft innovative solutions, and make a meaningful impact on how companies attract and retain talent.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AT BEAMERY

🚀 Tackle design problems from start to finish: translate user insights into innovative products and features, then design the workflows and detailed interactions to bring them to life.

🚀 Lead the design process end-to-end: conduct user research, distill insights, generate disruptive ideas, and design the workflows and interactions to implement them.

🚀 Prototype ideas to quickly evaluate feasibility and fine-tune interaction details.

🚀 Rapidly iterate based on user and team feedback.

🚀 Take full ownership of your design work, driving iterations to enhance product performance.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

🚀 A proven track record taking on long-term projects designing complex digital systems or products that successfully solve user problems.

🚀 Experience with B2B SaaS is a plus, as the workflows you'll be designing are complex, requiring thoughtful problem-solving and attention to detail.

🚀 A deep understanding and appreciation for the entire product development process, from user experience research through to detailed UI and visual design.

🚀 Comfortable designing native products for all device types (desktop, tablet, phone).

🚀 Excellent and persuasive communication of your design decisions and rationales

🚀 The ability to create beautiful high-fidelity mockups of your designs using Figma (or any other industry standard design tool).

🚀 A hungry self-starter who can collaborate deeply with engineers.

🚀 Someone who is looking to join, and participate in, a team with thriving culture and communication.

We're looking for portfolios that showcase live projects and clearly outline the problems you were tackling with your design work. It should highlight the process you used to get to a positive outcome, rather than just focusing on the visuals.
