Sales Operations Analyst - 16 month contract

The Team:

The Global GTM Operations team drives operational excellence through deep cross-functional collaboration, business partnership and data analytics, leading to earlier and improved business insights and the creation and adoption of best practices to improve scalability, efficiencies and effectiveness.

Under this umbrella, EMEA Field Operations is a small, close knit and very effective team of analysts and business partners. We are high impact and high visibility, supporting the SVP of EMEA Field Sales and the SVP of Global Channel Sales and their extended leadership teams. Our primary focus is driving business partnership & strategy, GTM optimisation, forecast validation and driving actionable insights underpinned by data and analytics.

We have developed cross functional relationships with almost every part of the business. We are especially close to our colleagues on the wider GTM Ops team including Corporate Operations, Tech Operations, Commercial Operations, Deal Desk, Order Management, Commissions and Field Systems Support. We also drive alignment with the broader EMEA functional support teams including Solutions Engineering, Cloud Sales, Legal, Marketing, Sales Enablement and Services.

As a Sales Operations Analyst you will:

  • Scale quickly to understand and execute on the many well documented and defined processes that underpin the operational integrity of the EMEA Sales Organisation and the Global Channel Organisation
  • Manage the ticketing queue which includes troubleshooting operational queries and requests for support from EMEA Field Sales and Channel Sales, while also reviewing and providing approval for standard requests routed through our Global Order Management team
  • Run the standard reporting and analytics requirements on which the team is reliant and identify opportunities to further automate and scale these assets
  • Identify and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business reporting assets that can guide strategic business decisions
  • Take ownership of the various elements of the GTM exercise that require validation of data input and replication of data across multiple systems, tools and reports
  • Upskill to SME level on key business policies, processes and the EMEA operational excellence deck to support the new hire operational onboarding experience and run the business agenda
  • Participate actively in prioritized tiger teams focused on evaluating the business process implications of system requirements and make appropriate recommendations to drive meaningful outcomes for the business (primarily Salesforce, Clari, Anaplan and Tableau)

We are excited about you if you:

  • Have 3+ years operational experience in a tech company ideally Software, Services or OpenSource
  • Bring a strong commercial acumen and a working knowledge of one or more sales operations functions including GTM planning, quota modeling, territory optimisation, forecasting or sales compensation
  • Are a self-starter who is motivated to learn, scale and deliver outcomes both individually and as part of a team
  • Have a proven ability to utilize data analysis to drive informed decisions and affect business outcomes
  • Can interface effectively to establish credibility, confidence and co-operation from a wide variety of stakeholders including field sales, sales operations and external organizations such as Field Systems Support
  • Have demonstrated an ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously, maintaining clear line of sight of priorities and delivering to defined timelines
  • Have a working knowledge of our business critical tools and experience writing business critical requirements (primarily Salesforce, Clari, Anaplan and Tableau)
  • Have Proficiency in Google Workspace (or MS Office), in particular Google Sheet and Google Slides

You will have a distinct advantage if you bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in MIS/BIS/Business
  • Experience in a channel sales or operations function
  • A passion for developing your career through on the job training and execution, participation in the defined GTM Ops Learning path and building your Individual Development Plan (IDP)
