We’re looking for a talented Operations Security Analyst to help us keep the good energy flowing.
In this interesting and varied role you will ensure when any abnormal, vulnerable, suspicious or malicious activity is detected it is reported. This role is responsible for triaging security events, supporting incident management & response, managing vulnerabilities, and performing threat research.
You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for adding value to our business through good service delivery governance and practices. The Technology Operations team play an integral role in supporting business and enterprise initiatives in line with the technology strategy.
Requirements
Along with your relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, technology or similar. It would be great if you had industry qualifications such as Security+ or other security vendor certifications.
Along with your experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or in a technology role requiring problem solving and analytical skills you will have:
- Experience monitoring, identifying and responding to security events and incidents.
- An understanding of Endpoint Protection and Response (EDR) products
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams
- A demonstrated understanding of and experience with IT security best practices
- An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences (both orally and in writing)
- Be able to work in a fast-pace environment
