Hello Future Developer

WesBank Moto Risk is looking for a dynamic and highly skilled Developer to join their team. The successful applicant will be required to implements a program of technology projects to ensure that program goals are accomplished.

Are you someone who can:

• Research new technology being used in the financial sector
• Develop prototype systems on which to test and prove the new technology
• Make recommendations of technology, vendors who can supply and support that technology as well as the use cases in which they can be used
• Maintain and share a knowledge base of financial technology, trends and news for the group
• Where bespoke applications are required, develop those applications to assist the treasury functions in the bank
• Participate with the broader community in the development of a blockchain platform for financial systems

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

• 5 + Years of experience as a Java Developer
• Java SE Application development and implementation
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot
• Experience with RDBMS – Oracle, MySQL or Postgres
• Experience with ORM Frameworks - Hibernate and JPA
• Experience with Build tools – Maven
• Experience with Application Servers - Weblogic, Tomcat and JBoss WIldfly
• Experience with Agile Methodology – SCRUM or Kanban
• Experience with Microservices Methodology
• Experience with Containerization - Docker and Kubernetes
