The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to use your expertise and grow your skills to provide intelligence support to our warfighters? We’re looking for a Socio-Cultural Analyst to help analyze and provide socio-cultural and Open-Source Intelligence input to enable Information Operations (IO) planning and operations. This work involves maintaining working relationships within the IO and information capability communities related to open source and socio-cultural analysis. You'll conduct classified and unclassified research and analysis related to the U.S. Army client's IO missions, conduct socio-cultural analysis, and produce open-source reports and all-source products for dissemination to the government.

As a Socio-Cultural Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your expertise and broaden your skillsets into areas like cyberspace operations, military deception, and Electronic Warfare or CEMA. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in IO or Information Advantage, and share your methodologies with others. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:

  • 12+ years of experience in functions such as Open-Source Research (OSR), Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), the collection and use of Publicly Available Information (PAI), All-Source Intelligence, or Information Operations Planning
  • Experience supervising teams of Intelligence Analysts or Planners in a military environment
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience supervising teams of 40+ Intelligence Analysts or Planners in a military environment
  • Experience in a socio-cultural analytic environment
  • Experience with IO
  • Experience supporting Army units at the operational through strategic levels
  • Possession of strong consulting skills to include client management, presenting briefings to a military audience, and written and verbal communications

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
