The Finance team at KINTO UK is a dynamic and collaborative unit, dedicated to maintaining financial accuracy, efficiency, and providing strategic insights across the organisation. The Financial Analyst will be a key contributor, leveraging technical expertise and innovative solutions to enhance financial processes, support strategic decision-making, and drive continuous improvement. This role is pivotal in translating complex financial data into actionable business strategies, ensuring that our financial practices align with KINTO's overarching business objectives.

What you will be doing:

Trend Analysis: Analyse trends in customer, product, and fleet profitability to assist management in making key business decisions and implementing process improvements, while identifying and mitigating commercial risks and opportunities.

Financial Reporting: Perform detailed financial analysis and reporting, translating complex results into meaningful insights that drive business strategy.

Data Visualisation: Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, and migrate existing Excel reports to Power BI to enhance reporting efficiency and accessibility.

Support and Collaboration: Collaborate with finance teams to provide insightful data analysis, aiding in their decision-making processes.

Monthly Reporting: Manage monthly tasks such as fleet reconciliation and contractual fee calculations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Strategic Planning Support: Assist in the production of accurate and timely client and consolidated forecasts, budgets, and 5-year strategic plans by liaising with Strategic Account Managers, departmental heads, and other business areas.

Pricing and Profit Modelling: Develop and refine new business pricing models to support commercial decisions and identify opportunities for growth.

Project Ownership: Take ownership of various projects, profit modelling, and any ad-hoc financial analysis and presentations as required by the Manager or Senior Management Team.

Process Improvement: Drive process improvements by creating standard and ad-hoc reports and developing automated reporting tools that enhance business efficiency

Requirements

Technical Proficiency: Strong SQL skills with the ability to create queries and analyse large datasets. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VBA, and experience with Power BI for report creation and maintenance.

Analytical Ability: Demonstrated ability to streamline financial functions, strong data-gathering skills, and high attention to detail. Proven troubleshooting capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying business and process improvements.

Communication Skills: A powerful communicator capable of translating complex financial data into meaningful insights for both financial and non-financial audiences.

Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
