Overview: The Siebel Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions between Siebel CRM and various enterprise systems. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, ensuring the seamless flow of data and processes across applications, and leveraging Siebel’s Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools and other integration technologies.

The project is estimated to include eighteen (18) iterations of three (3) weeks each, with work delivered under the guidance of Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Agile Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development:
    • Develop custom solutions using Siebel EAI, Siebel Business Services, Workflows, and other integration tools.
    • Implement web services (SOAP/REST) to facilitate communication between Siebel CRM and external applications.
    • Integrate Siebel with third-party systems, including ERP, BI, and other cloud-based services.
    • Customize Siebel workflows and develop APIs to support business processes and data exchange requirements.
  • System Integration:
    • Design and implement data migration and integration strategies.
    • Collaborate with enterprise architects and business analysts to define integration solutions that align with technical and business needs.
    • Ensure real-time and batch processing of data across multiple systems.
  • Technical Support:
    • Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues in Siebel environments.
    • Provide technical expertise during the software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Testing & Documentation:
    • Conduct unit and system integration testing to ensure high-quality delivery of integration solutions.
    • Maintain technical documentation, including integration processes, data flows, and system architecture diagrams.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work with project managers, business stakeholders, and other IT teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of integration projects.
    • Provide technical guidance to junior developers and assist with code reviews to maintain high coding standards.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in Siebel CRM development, with a focus on system integration.
    • Proven experience with Siebel EAI, Business Services, Workflows, and Siebel Tools.
    • Experience in integrating Siebel with other applications using SOAP, REST APIs, or middleware platforms (e.g., Oracle SOA, TIBCO, MuleSoft).
    • Familiarity with Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in Siebel integration tools, Siebel Web Services, and Siebel UCM (Universal Customer Master).
    • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, JSON, and related web technologies.
    • Strong knowledge of database structures, queries, and Siebel Data Model.
    • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, eScript, or VBScript.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Siebel Certification (e.g., Siebel 8 Consultant Certification) is a plus.
    • Experience with cloud platforms and SaaS integrations.
    • Knowledge of data migration tools and techniques.

  • Work hours are Monday - Friday, normal 40 hours weeks working onsite up to 5 days a week
