eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Software Engineer in Bellevue, WA

Job Duties: Design and develop software applications for eBay’s Shipping domain – an integral component to eBay’s rapid growth and innovation in the eCommerce marketplace. Work on projects throughout all phases of the software development life cycle. Work with engineers and other multi-functional teams to build software solutions. Develop software that meets market needs with respect to functionality, reliability, performance, and scalability. Implement creative large-scale software architectural patterns to turn business requirements to complex yet easy-to-use technical solutions. Track business impact of developed software features on a regular basis. Make informed decisions about future development directions. Scope, prioritize, plan, bug fix, deploy, and document software issues.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance

Base salary: $182,312-262,900 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
