In this role you will:

Design, develop, test, install, and support programs/systems. You will support project proposals by collaborating with collaborators from various functions and geographies. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with customers to gain insight into their requirements and suggest standard methodology systems solutions for projects of different levels of complexity.
• Analyzing detailed system factors, including input/output requirements, information flow, and hardware/software needs.
• Validating alternative problem management proposals and deciding on the best solutions.
• Providing technical assistance and mentorship to colleagues, including resolving issues reported by less senior team members.
• Leading design review meetings and coordinating activities, such as schedules and costs, for small project teams.
• Preparing and completing systems documentation and operating procedures.
• Evaluating and recommending the technical feasibility and estimates for proposed systems solutions.

We are seeking professionals with:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in systems engineering and software development.
• Proven expertise in Python and C++ programming languages.
• Strong debugging skills and secure coding practices.
• Experience in developing CICD pipelines and DevOps, or equivalent experience.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Preferred qualifications:

• Advanced certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies.
• Experience with project management in a technical setting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A track record of successfully implementing innovative solutions.
• Strong understanding of financial systems and secure messaging protocols.

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $92,120 MINIMUM to 171,080 MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employees contingent on personal and company performance.
