PAYMENTS ADMINISTRATOR (12-month fixed term contract) WELLINGBOROUGH

£23,400-£25,000 DOE

If you have the skills, we will provide the training.

Your accuracy and attention to detail will be put to good use performing vital data entry in our Payments team. This is a 12-month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave.

WHY JOIN US?

First up, we will invest the time to ensure that you are fully trained so this is an excellent opportunity to upskill yourself in banking.

Benefits include 25 days’ annual leave, private medical insurance (after six months), income protection, pension scheme, onsite subsidised restaurant, free onsite parking and a range of discounts and benefits through our Reward Gateway platform.

You will join a hard-working team of all backgrounds and ages. The one thing everyone has in common is a strong team ethos – everyone is there to help, and no one is too busy to stop and answer a question. Everyone is pulling together to make the whole team successful – and that includes you.

THE PRACTICAL BITS

It would be great if you can start in mid-November, but the most important thing is to hire the right person so we can wait if we need to. The contract will be for 12 months, regardless of your start date.

We need to make sure you are fully trained, so for the first 4 months or so you will need to be fully onsite. After training you can work from home up to 2 days per week. Hours of work are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

At its core, your role will involve taking information from one source, checking the information is correct, and accurately keying it into our system.

That might sound simple, but you will be dealing with both domestic and international payments for high-net-worth individuals. The amounts will often be large, and regulations must be adhered to. Your contribution to the exemplary service the bank provides its customers will be vital.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work under time pressures to achieve tasks at times of high volume with 100% accuracy.
  • You will be someone who thrives in a positive team environment.
  • Act with integrity to ensure correct processes are always followed and if you make an error, own it. That way, we can fix it together.
  • It would be great if you have data entry or admin expereince within financial services, but full training will be provided so your skills and ability to learn are the most important things.
