Java Developer

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
• ideally 5 to 10+ years experience in developing enterprise-class applications using Java, Unix/Linux, Spring, Springboot, Kubernetes, Maven, JMS, Oracle, SQL
• experience in application development, including analyzing stories, writing code, implementing automated unit tests, contributing to release and iteration planning and developing the working practices of our team
• proficient in all the layers of application development and would be required to stitch together end to end applications on the Azure Cloud for our clients, starting from front end development, back-end development, middleware integration and persisting data in no SQL or RDBMS database
• hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• deep understanding of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc) and excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Webflux)
• middleware skills on the REST/SOA services, Apigee or API Connect along with RDBMS and NoSQL skills for persistence
• experience in developing new user-facing features using React.js; hands on expertise in HTML/5, CSS, REST services and JavaScript (React.JS)
• proficient in building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use along with translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• understanding of software development including the full project lifecycle from working on multiple substantial projects using Agile development methodologies
