Elastic, the Search AI Company, enables everyone to find the answers they need in real time, using all their data, at scale — unleashing the potential of businesses and people. The Elastic Search AI Platform, used by more than 50% of the Fortune 500, brings together the precision of search and the intelligence of AI to enable everyone to accelerate the results that matter. By taking advantage of all structured and unstructured data — securing and protecting private information more effectively — Elastic’s complete, cloud-based solutions for search, security, and observability help organizations deliver on the promise of AI.

The Ingest team builds tools to efficiently collect, process, and ingest data at scale. • Making occasional contributions in Go to our developer-facing Integrations tooling
  • Collaborating with teammates is a mostly text-based, asynchronous, remote-first environment with occasional video calls and annual in-person conferences
  • Reviewing pull requests and design documents, providing constructive feedback and asking meaningful questions
  • Working with product managers and UX designers to deliver impactful improvements to Elastic's data ingestion experience and centralized management platform
  • Engaging with our Open Source community by working largely in public
  • Encouraging a culture of mutual respect and collaborative decision-making

What you bring along

  • 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js
  • Experience writing automated tests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed

What you might have

  • Familiarity with the Elastic Stack
  • Experience with Go
  • Experience working on Open Source software
