You will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies across all suppliers within the software and VAR space. This role will support the business by interacting with strategic suppliers, ensuring that selected vendors align with business needs, while negotiating deals, executing contracts, and mitigating costs and risks. The role is key to delivering value to Alight's product owners, driving efficiency, and ensuring seamless vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Proven leadership skills are essential to be successful in the role
• Develop and execute procurement strategies for software and VAR suppliers.
• Experience to negotiate, interpret and resolve contractual terms
• Serve as the main point of contact for strategic supplier negotiations, contract execution, and supplier relationship management.
• Proactively support business stakeholders by understanding their needs and aligning procurement strategies to business objectives.
• Drive consolidation of work efforts, ensuring minimal touchpoints and reducing inefficiencies caused by multiple points of contact.
• Mitigate risks and maximize cost-saving opportunities through effective supplier management and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to avoid redundant purchases, identifying opportunities to streamline procurement processes and achieve collective business goals.
• Take a high-level, holistic approach to ensure alignment between technology initiatives and client needs, creating cohesive procurement plans.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to connect the dots across business functions and ensure alignment.
• Collaborator who can lead discussions and create synergy across multiple departments.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

102,400 USD

Maximum :

162,600 USD
