The Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer will manage enterprise cloud platforms and support a multi-cloud automated platform (IaaS) within a global team. Reporting to the Cloud Platform Engineering Director, you will apply your expertise in automated software engineering, scripting, and cloud operations to guide project delivery and maintain an enterprise-level cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Standardize and automate provisioning and support as reusable cloud services
- Develop infrastructure as code on AWS/Azure/GCP for various environments
- Implement automated deployment processes to enhance functionality and manageability
- Ensure performance and reliability of global cloud data centers and networks
- Improve productivity with advanced orchestration, monitoring, and self-healing automation
- Build automation to prevent issues
- Support technology automation for compute, storage, backups, and OS in both cloud and on-premises environments
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering comprising of developing, and operating scalable cloud infrastructure services
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and migration on AWS and Azure
- Expertise in writing CloudFormation and Azure Resource Manager templates (IaC)
- Proficient in automation/configuration management using Ansible, Terraform.
- Experience coding/scripting with Python, Perl, Ruby, and using AWS/Azure SDK and CLI
- Background in Linux/Unix and Windows administration
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and identity management services
- Understanding of cloud networking, core Internet protocols, and distributed network routing
- Working knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and managed databases like AWS RDS/Azure SQL
- Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-300 & AZ-301) - Expert
- Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ-400) - Expert
