Lead Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a talented Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the user experience of our React-based front-end application, working closely with our back-end engineers to implement features and functionality for our loan products. You'll lead the development and implementation of web-oriented customer flows for both loan origination and servicing. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of offering seamless loan services that aid in credit improvement for our customers.

You Will

• Develop and maintain high-quality, user-centric front-end features for our loan origination and servicing platforms.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities.
• Own web UX development projects end-to-end, demonstrating a strong ability to manage and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product's interface.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

You have

• 5+ years in front-end development, with substantial experience in React.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails required.
• Expertise in React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Proficiency in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering and maintaining API-based web applications.
• Familiarity with TDD and CI/CD practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
