DUTIES: Responsible for leading large and complex business initiatives for VBG portals and delivering best in class customer experience. Provide end-to-end analysis of the application and identify the project changes for each impacted module. Collaborate with the business partners, business analysts and interfacing teams to define user interface, screen navigation and integration with interfacing systems for the system enhancements. Drive end-to-end application design for complex modules within the VBG customer facing portals. Drive creative solutions for Service and Chatbot initiatives and deliver robust application design that provides intuitive user interface and easy navigation for the customer, and thus, drives digital adoption for VBG users. Design systems and applications that deliver business functions or architectural components. Develop system architecture that improves designs and mapping form to function. Responsible for performance tuning of mission critical applications and responsive screen designs. Educate team members about integrating systems collaboratively and efficiently. Provide guidance to the junior members, both onshore and offshore, to develop, unit test, and integration test the application modules for the customer facing VBG portals. Support production rollout of the enhancements with validation and post production issue resolution for enterprise and maintenance releases. Track project metrics and drive digital adoption. Assess project risk, proactively take remedial action and ensure robust system performance and stability in production.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include: 6 years of software development experience in production grade, customer facing web portals and Enterprise Architecture; 6 years in Java/J2EE development, Data Migration, and ETL; 5 years using Spring Microservice and Apache Camel, any relational database management system; 3 years using Angular and React JS. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
