The Software Engineer is a full stack developer who works on an existing R1 application that uses .NET 8 and Angular 16 technologies and runs on Microsoft Azure. The application provides users with powerful and flexible data analysis and visualization tools. The Software Engineer collaborates with a motivated Agile team and handles all aspects of development, including the database, backend, and front-end. The Software Engineer also follows and maintains quality standards, writes, and runs unit/integration tests, and participates in peer code reviews.

What you'll do:

  • Develop software solutions that are user-friendly, reliable, maintainable, and performant.

  • Collaborate with other engineers in design reviews, code reviews, performance testing, and functional testing to ensure product quality.

  • Work with Product Management team and follow the Agile software development life cycle.

  • Write code that is clean, maintainable, and scalable.

  • Follow and enforce engineering best practices that support CI/CD, automation, auditability, automated testing, and infrastructure.

  • Attend daily scrum meetings, analyzing assigned user stories, identifying, and resolving gaps in functional user stories or business requirements.

What you'll need:

  • At least 3-5 years of practical experience in developing and delivering solutions using .NET/.NET Core and Angular.

  • A solid grasp of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in C#, LINQ, Entity Framework and Web API within the .NET Framework.

  • Knowledge of Angular2 best practices.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience in writing test cases using Jasmine.

  • A solid understanding of the C# programming language and its syntax, features, and best practices.

  • A familiarity with the .NET 3+ framework and its libraries, tools, and services.

  • A knowledge of the testing frameworks and tools that are compatible with .NET, such as NUnit, xUnit, MSTest, Moq, FluentAssertions, etc.

  • An ability to design, write, run, debug, and maintain unit and integration tests that are clear, reliable, and maintainable.

  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), or other testing methodologies that promote quality and productivity.

  • A proficiency in using code analysis, code coverage, and code quality tools to measure and improve the testability and quality of your code.

Nice to have's:

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

  • Familiarity with both Azure DevOps and GitHub.

  • Experience working with healthcare data.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $60,483.00 - $125,383.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
