Engineering Coordinator I

This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Job Family Definition:

Responsible for performing general and specific administrative support tasks involved in an engineering environment. Responsibilities may include maintaining records, specifications, drawings and other related documentation. Assisting with the preparation of ECNs (Engineering Change Notices), creation of BOMs, and assisting internal and external customers in various administrative tasks directly related to the work unit’s primary function. These tasks may include, but not be limited to, assisting with researching information, assisting with analysis, compiling data for reports, coordinating work processes following work unit manager’s directions and other established administrative procedures. Coordinates work within the work unit and with other work units/departments, both internal and possibly external to the company. May assist in work for one or more professional employees other than the direct supervisor.

Education and Experience Required:

High school education or equivalent. To adequately perform the duties of the job individuals must possess a minimum of 6 months to 1- year (or equivalent) administrative experience.

Type of Experience Needed:

Basic knowledge of the administrative methods, with some basic exposure to this function is highly preferred; and an acumen to learn the required administrative skills of the job in this function. Specific level of software skills as required by the work unit.

Responsibilities:

Role requires working in the Spring, TX office 5 days a week.

Material Service Ticket

  • Join review meeting for Material Service Request (MSR)
  • Receive, unpack, instock in system, distribute or store (put on shelfs) hardware components and server units
  • Package, shipping to world-wide team, vendors and ODMs
  • server receiver focal; server distribution
  • Inventory recall execution
  • Programing DIMM modules as Smart DIMM

Inventory Management

  • Ensure that materials are properly labeled and documented in system
  • Well track for the high value parts such as CPU, Memory, GPU, and other controllers
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and organized efficiently
  • Audit execution
  • Scrap execution
  • Lab equipment/material quarterly purchase consolidation
  • Shared Lab material shortage request support

WH management

  • Setting up storage room and control access to the rooms
  • Storage Room management

INV system operation

  • Maintain accurate records of all hardware components and server units by using the inventory management system
  • Record transactions accurately and update in system
  • Report any damaged or defective items
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and audit results

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Hourly: $17.55 - $37.26
