Systems Engineer

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to support the drive of software design, development, integration, configuration management, transition planning, acceptance testing and deployment activities for efficiencies on our team in the Herndon, VA or Aurora, CO areas.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate with Chief Engineer (CE) / Chief Architect (CA) to review SOW and recommend platform resources, software, and implementation approach.
• Serve as liaison between TO43 and Athena to ensure smooth initial standup of needed development and production environments.
• Support to drive software design, development, integration, configuration management, transition planning, acceptance testing, and deployment activities for TO43 efficiencies.
• Support path to production process to ensure smooth initial deployments as well as subsequent updates and re-deploys to production.
• Support planning and execution of testing for TO43, to include supporting stand up of specific test environments. Represent and advise on platform needs for integration testing and performance testing.
• Provide ongoing support to O&M needs, representing program needs to platform providers.
• Support strategic discussions for future enhancements, improvements, and upgrades to platform offerings. Document emerging needs of developers and propose future changes.
• Interface with platform providers and ensure smooth coordination and communication between various platform providers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with various levels of testing (requirements verification, feature testing, and/or unit testing).
• Experience with interface definition and documentation.
• Experience with CONOPS development.
• Experience working on an Agile scrum team.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Experience with DevSecOps.
• Experience with Cloud technologies.
• Relevant Domain knowledge.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and 14+ years of experience in systems engineering, or Master’s Degree in a technical field and 7+years of systems engineering experience

Security Clearance Requirements:

· An active and current TS/SCI w/ poly is required.
