Introduction:

As the first Staff SRE at Dashlane, you will be joining contributors across various engineering domains, reporting directly to the VP of Platform Engineering. You possess extensive expertise in multiple technology domains critical to our zero-knowledge architecture. Your best asset is your versatility and your experience working with a DevOps mindset. Your mission will be to lead initiatives to increase resiliency across our products showcasing SRE best practice.

Location:

You will be based in Lisbon, with English as your working language. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with Tuesday being the company day, where we all collaborate in the office and have a company-sponsored meal, a department day for team bonding (will be Thursday for your department), and a third day at your choice. We offer relocation support (national and international).

At Dashlane you will:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, high-performance infra solutions that meet the needs of our business and developers
• Collaborate with other Staffs to define technical requirements and drive initiatives that drive resiliency
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Actively participate in the Platform Engineering domain with other Staffs and Managers
• Architect robust and resilient systems that can adapt to evolving business requirements and technical challenges.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Drive initiatives to improve engineering processes, code quality, and overall system reliability.

Requirements:

• You have a BS in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or similar relevant field
• Experience in DevOps, SRE, or CloudOps
• Proficiency in TypeScript (NodeJS)
• Proficiency in Terraform, Serverless, Cloudformation and/or other IaC tools
• Experience with cloud computing such as AWS and GCP
• Fluency in English

We're Also Looking For:

• You are someone who can operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams and multiple timezones, and navigate technical ambiguity with only high-level direction.
• You are highly collaborative and focused on building relationships across all departments.
• You are self-driven and can deliver on ambiguous projects in spite of incomplete or inaccurate data.
• Easily build relationships with the different players in the tech area, at different levels of the organization
• Track record of building and maintaining web products used by millions of users
• Good knowledge of the Open Telemetry
• Experience with Cloudflare Zero Trust and Cloudflare Workers
• Good knowledge of modern Web Application libraries and tools: React, Webpack, Jest, Cypress, etc.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our products and technical architecture.
• Act as a subject matter expert on technical topics, providing guidance and support to colleagues across all departments.
• Lead by example, promoting a culture of collaboration, transparency, and excellence within the engineering organization.
