Job Description

MR Software Experience Team Lead :

Inspire and lead the development of UX driven innovations that enable staff to deliver better care for millions of MRI patients around the world faster and with quality.

Coach and nurture the agile “MR UX team” (user experience designers and usability engineers) working on MR software innovations that will transform the way clinical staff performs MRI examinations.

Your role:

  • Inspire the business with UX driven insights, innovations and thought leadership
  • Define and creatively direct the implementation of the UX Strategy for MR Software (road mapping, program scoping and development), teaming up with key functions
  • Delivery and post-market surveillance of the MR software user experience
  • Foster and maintain a high team engagement and well-being to retain talents
  • Coach the Agile Team by being the custodian of Agile practices and Philips culture
  • Facilitate and guide the work of the team and respective stakeholders in the value streams, all to ensure that great, customer experience driven digital solutions are developed
  • Assist the MR UX team in delivering value efficiently and with quality
  • Communicate with stakeholders, escalate or remove impediments, help manage risk and drive relentless improvements

You will be remotely leading the amazing MR software experience design team located at Philips Innovation Center (PIC) in Bengaluru, reporting directly to the MR Design Team Lead and teaming up with MR colleagues in India, China, and the Netherlands. Additionally, you will be part of the Philips Experience Design (XD) community established in 1925, one of the longest-established design organizations in the world and who was awarded “RedDot design team of the year“ in 2022.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have strong expertise in software design.

  • You’re experienced with leading agile teams and working as part of an agile release train.

  • You have prior experience in the healthcare/medical devices industry is required.

  • You’ve got master’s degree in User experience Design, Design Research or related discipline, or equivalent professional Design training experience.

  • You’re experienced with servant leadership, confident and inspirational, and able to convey goal and purpose, while encouraging self-organization & team engagement. Good at bonding with people, working with international teams.
