As a Senior Principal Engineer you will lead and execute technical projects in the Disciplinary Engineering and Science field. The successful candidate will be a recognized expert in their field, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. They will provide technical leadership and guidance to teams and will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

As a Senior Principal Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Lead and execute technical projects, including research and development, design, and analysis, and testing and evaluation
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams of engineers and scientists
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Develop and implement technical strategies and plans
• Conduct technical due diligence, including review of literature, evaluation of data, and analysis of results
• Develop and present technical reports, proposals, and other documents
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and scientists
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and advancements in the field

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g. Solid Mechanics, Mechanical/Civil Structural Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field )
• 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on Disciplinary Engineering and Science
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Strong leadership and technical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Disciplinary Engineering and Science principles and practices, specially in areas of solid mechanics, structural analysis.
• Proficiency in software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, MathCAD and Matlab
• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies is beneficial
• Strong understanding of industry trends and developments
