This is a temporary position for a test engineer working critical programs. There will be work performed on existing programs as well as new research and development. The candidate will also be providing part-time critical support to the existing B2 Depot by modifying/developing alternate solutions to the 40-year-old Legacy equipment that is still supporting the field. The candidate will also design Analog Module (AM) and Digital Module (DM) Interface Test Adapters. The candidate will design Firmware and Software as well as develop Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for ITAs. You will analyze and evaluate new or improved electronic components as well as, including circuit theory, computer design and development, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Provide the Integrated Test Adapter (ITA) design for 2 new ITAs (receiver module and preprocessor module), checkout, and Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V).
  • Mentor another Raytheon employee, transitioning knowledge.
  • Designs and Test DM ITA and lead Test Procedures
  • Conducts Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) for complex test equipment
  • Design and test AM Module ITAs and leads test procedures
  • Design and test Firmware and Software
  • Design and test GUIs for ITAs

Basic Qualifications:

  • Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design experience
  • Experience with Firmware design
  • Special Test Equipment (STE) equipment design Experience
  • 10+ years of professional Electrical & Electronics engineering experience
  • Designs Digital and Analog Interface Test Adapters and Special Test Equipment
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Firmware programming
  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with specialty in Analog and Digital Design
  • RF design engineering

This is a temporary position of undetermined length.

The salary range for this role is $62.50 - $130.76; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills.
