Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible to lead the requirements documentation, scoping, overseeing the delivery and finally contributing to productization of Zenith International Data and Tech Services. Together with the managing partner of Data and Tech and discipline specialists will contribute to identifying and closing organic revenue opportunities

You will have responsibility to use your craft and people skills to influence internal teams, including offshore, and stakeholders through the complex challenges.

Responsibilities:

You will have an understanding of delivering global data, tech and analytics solutions for clients for example campaign performance dashboards.

You will have to work with ambiguity and make the complicated less so for colleagues and clients. Working at pace, you are agile in nature and mindset, with a willingness to fail fast, learn fast.

• Managing stakeholders, confidently gathering and challenging the validity of requirements to frame a business/client problem and tailor a solution to solve it
• Supporting workshops with client teams and stakeholders up to C Level
• Working closely with Project Manager to lead teams of Technical Architects, Developers, Testers and business stakeholders
• Understanding and documenting complex technical aspects of systems integration and communicate these to the project / programme
• Translating business requirements and business-level acceptance criteria into user stories and acceptance criteria for technical implementation
• Context modelling of current system landscape to establish capabilities and constraints
• Requirements analysis, including identification of relevant systems, data mapping and processes definition; definition and documentation of applicable business rules, data and system capabilities analysis against the established user experience.
• Supporting Technical Architects and developers during the detailed design phases
• Providing clarification during implementation and support of quality assurance
• Managing requirements using Jira, being able to articulate stories and groom backlogs

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

• System and technical architecture analysis on complex Agile programmes
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
• Prior knowledge of data modelling and its technical architecture
• Exposure to media industry is not a pre-requisite but would be an advantage
• Definition of acceptance criteria for technical stories
• Requirements engineering and management, including analysis, scope management and workshop facilitation
• Working in large-scale, multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder teams, specifically being able to manage many client stakeholders at once
• Thorough knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project lifecycle and relevant paradigms, methodologies and techniques
• Able to demonstrate formal methods, systems concepts, analytical disciplines, processes, procedures to effectively communicate requirements and proposed solution
• Understanding of quality assurance process for software development desirable
• Background in systems architecture for web-based platforms
• Previous successful delivery of large complex data, tech and analytics projects
• Formal certification in Business Analysis, PM, Delivery management are especially welcome to apply.
