The Supplier Onboarding Analyst, will be part of a team of 3 in the UK and will demonstrate behaviours which meet Allwyn’s core values, evidence an ability to work collaboratively across Allwyn, and role model leadership on key programmes such as Social Value (ESG).

Role Purpose:

Allwyn’s statutory duties is to ensure the National Lottery is run with due propriety, and this applies to four key areas: Employees, Suppliers, Retailers and Participants.

The Supplier Onboarding Analyst role will help the National Lottery run with due propriety by being responsible for conducting thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) assessments on potential suppliers. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practice guidance and facilitating a smooth onboarding process.

Allwyn, as the Licensee of the Fourth National Lottery Licence, is required to run the National Lottery with all due propriety. Allwyn is also required to ensure that the running of the National Lottery complies with all laws, regulations, and licences applicable to the National Lottery and to comply with Best Practice. To meet these requirement Allwyn is undertaking due diligence and, when required, enhanced due diligence of suppliers to ensure that.

This role will play a pivotal part in safeguarding the trust and reputation of the National Lottery.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high energy Supplier Onboarding Analyst to join our growing procurement team to help design and implement the sustainable procurement strategy and processes for the National Lottery for the next 10 years, in line with Allwyn’s Social Value framework, as we start to build relationships with new and existing National Lottery suppliers.

Role Responsibilities:

The Supplier Onboarding Analyst will report to the Senior Procurement Assistant and their duties will include:

  • Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential suppliers, verifying their identity, legal status, ownership structure, and financial stability.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations and company policies during the supplier onboarding process to mitigate potential risks.
  • You will also support the Social Value team in maintaining a positive and collaborative culture
  • Continually assess and promote sustainable and responsible procurement, in line with Allwyn’s Social Value framework, including social, cultural and diversity values in the organisation and throughout the supply chain.
  • Review and validate supplier-provided documentation, such as business licenses, tax identification numbers, financial statements, and other relevant records.
  • Assess the risks association with new suppliers based on the outcome of KYC assessments and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to determine appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to collate required documentation, address queries and facilitate a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier information, documentation, and compliance-related activities in the designated system (Coupa).
  • Collaborate with procurement, legal, finance and cyber security to ensure alignment and timely execution of the supplier onboarding process.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on supplier onboarding processes, compliance requirements and industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for supplier onboarding processes and compliance.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on supplier onboarding activities, compliance status, and potential risks for management review.
  • Ensuring the success of onboarding compliance.
  • Provide, maintain, and improve reports sent to upper management to highlight overall success and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in supplier onboarding, KYC/KYS, compliance or a related role.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in supplier due diligence and KYC/KYS processes.
  • Knowledge and Understanding of LSEG World Check
  • Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential suppliers, verifying their identity, legal status, ownership structure, and financial stability.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for documentation and data management.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with good written and spoken English.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, willing to accept challenges, with good time management and organisation skills.
  • Have knowledge and experience in using the Coupa platform is preferred but not essentials
