To reach our ambitious goals and become the World’s Number One payment provider, we need you to join us as our Data Engineer.

The role:

Your primary responsibility will be designing, maintaining, and improving data pipelines using a variety of technologies. You will manage and scale our data infrastructure, ensuring automation, security, and reliability across systems. As we grow, you will have the opportunity to scale data initiatives, helping to shape and expand our data capabilities.

  • Collaborate with the wider team and stakeholders to gather requirements, scope projects, and ensure alignment from start to finish. You’ll manage stakeholder expectations, communicate progress, and independently drive the execution of technical tasks to meet project milestones.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and reliability by building monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities so that we can identify bottlenecks, detect issues, and respond proactively to ensure uninterrupted platform performance.
  • Contribute to improving the team’s processes, infrastructure and ways of working by scouting and adopting new technologies and methodologies.
  • Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and roadmap planning to ensure alignment with team goals, strategy, and timely delivery of projects.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Expertise using cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake), orchestrators (Airflow), and languages (Python, SQL)
  • Proven ability to own projects from development to deployment, aligning with stakeholders to deliver results
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive problem-solving approach and solid project management abilities.
  • A team player who actively contributes to improving processes and the maturity of the team.
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD to manage cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows
  • An ability to impact broader company initiatives and influence the future direction of the data strategy.
