Our client is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge power electronics solutions while collaborating with global teams, customers, and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop inverter systems ensuring performance, reliability, and durability.
- Use CAE tools like LTspice, Simulink, Simscape, PSIM for modeling and analysis.
- Apply EMC and EMI expertise for compliance and functionality optimization.
- Lead simulations and modeling to improve inverter designs' efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate and optimize complete electric drive systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in software and hardware development.
- Attend customer and supplier meetings, offering technical insights.
- Contribute to advanced engineering projects and system optimization.
- Work closely with colleagues in China and engage with European customers.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in power electronics design, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Strong EMC/EMI expertise, including root cause analysis and mitigation.
- Fluency in English (Mandarin, Swedish, or German is a plus).
