Are you ready for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who serve our country? We are looking for an entry-level/non-supervisory Program Analyst to support biomedical research at the Naval Medical Research Unit, San Antonio (NAMRU-SA) in San Antonio, TX.

NAMRU-SA serves as one of the leading research and development laboratories for the U.S. Navy and conducts gap driven combat casualty care, craniofacial, and directed energy research to improve survival, operational readiness, and safety of Department of Defense (DoD) personnel engaged in routine and expeditionary operations. The successful candidate will work in parallel with staff researchers to provide logistical and surgical support for IACUC approved research studies.

Your Main Objective:

  • Coordinate Contractor and Government personnel’s occupational health and training compliance in accordance with the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee’s (IACUC) requirements
  • Edit, format, submit and track IACUC protocols and amendments for Principal Investigators (PI)
  • Manage personnel folders to ensure documents and records are updated
  • Process travel documents required for civilian and military Temporary Additional Duty (TAD) assignments
  • Assist with preparing, routing, and reconciling Government-wide Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) and medical supply orders
  • Process contract-related documents such as delivery receipts and option year exercise packages
  • Verify monthly animal per diem charges and ensure funding information is provided for payment
  • Manage conference room calendars
  • Provide administrative support to prepare for visitors/tours
  • Ensure administrative and IT requests/requirements are fulfilled when new employees onboard
  • Retrieve and disseminate mail, empty shred bin waste, and maintain printers/copiers and fax machine
  • Update the Emergency Accountability Roster/Recall Roster and TSRL Directory
  • Serve as the Muster/Recall Coordinator for unit
  • May be appointed as Assistant Key Custodian, OPSEC representative, Change of Command committee member or other duties, as assigned

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years’ experience or Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Microsoft applications
  • Experience in military medical research laboratory is a plus
  • Due to Federal contract requirements, US citizenship is required
  • The candidate will be required to acquire, at a minimum, a SECRET classification access level. Preference will be given to a candidate who already has this clearance level

Pay Range:

Pay Range $49,400.00 - $89,300.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
