OUR CLIENT - Cableteque is a technology company established in 2022, specializing in the design of electrical wiring harnesses and connector systems. The company has developed the innovative Predictive Interconnect Analytics (PIA) platform, aimed at enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and adaptability of wiring harness designs in response to changing conditions. The PIA platform integrates with existing CAD systems, enabling engineers to design complex wiring networks more quickly and reliably.

Cableteque primarily focuses on the automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries, where precise and efficient wiring design is critical to minimizing manufacturing errors and costs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs, translating them into compelling designs;
  • Design user interfaces that are functional, visually attractive, and aligned with their brand identity;
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and interactive mockups to communicate design ideas effectively;
  • Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions;
  • Work closely with developers to ensure smooth handoff and implementation of designs, maintaining design consistency across platforms;
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to bring fresh ideas and insights to the table;
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, team members, and analytics data to continually improve the user experience.

Requirements

  • Proven strong experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in web and mobile design;
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe or similar;
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices;
  • Experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable design decisions;
  • Strong English language skills;
  • Ability to create responsive designs that work seamlessly across different devices and platforms;
  • A strong knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Typescript) is a great advantage;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate your design decisions to both technical and non-technical team members;
  • A proactive attitude, with a strong desire to continuously learn and grow.
