Charger Logistics is seeking a well-rounded individual able to work in a fast-paced environment to join our team at the company’s office in Brampton, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy robust network infrastructure and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, SD-WAN
  • Applying engineering best practices to analyse, design, develop, deploy, and support network infrastructure in a large data centre(DC) environment.
  • Delivery both data centre and public cloud network solutions that accommodate both present and future needs
  • Experience designing networks for regional resiliency.
  • Configure and manage routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP) to ensure efficient network routing and failover
  • Developing, designing, and implementing network roadmap, architecture, standards, and governance
  • Manage and enforce 802.1X network access control, ensuring secure device authentication and authorization for wired and wireless networks
  • Work closely with the security team to ensure that network components adhere to security standards and best practices
  • Leads continuous process development, improvement, and automation of Perimeter Defense related solutions and support activities.
  • Demonstrated experience in network switching and routing, firewall and intrusion detection and prevention systems, network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols).
  • Skilled at handling multiple competing priorities while working on multiple complex, highly visible and politically sensitive projects.
  • Contributes to the design and supports the execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the helpdesk and other IT teams as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of designing, deploying of experience, maintaining, and improving on-prem and cloud networks
  • Strong understanding of data center network provisioning
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco Switches, HPE Switches.
  • Proficiency with network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
  • Experience with deploying and managing load balancers and remote access VPNs, Next Gen Firewalls, SD-WAN
  • Knowledge of ITIL, and change management processes
  • Hands on experience with multiple platforms in a corporate environment including Windows, Linux, OSX, Cisco, and other platforms.
  • Self-starter with high energy to meet the needs of a demanding business and IT environment.
