Quality assurance

  • Responsibilities
    • Ensure lower environments are up to date and available
    • Writing the Test Plan and reviewing it with the PMO, Dev teams and the Product Owner
    • Test cases are written and reviewed for all components/modules that are mentioned in the testing scope in the test plan
    • All Functional, End to End, Regression, and Performance Test Stories are linked to the corresponding User Stories and/or Tech Stories for traceability
    • Defects are logged during testing phase
    • All types of testing (integration, performance, security, regression) required for the release have been conducted
    • Segregation of duties. Developer who codes is not the same person as who is testing.
    • Requirement traceability matrix is able to be generated. (i.e. – test cases are mapped to stories prioritized in the quarter)
    • All tests are completed, and test results documented that are required for test exit criteria documented in test plan
    • All technology stories are closed at the end of the release
    • No open defects for the Release unless they are approved to be deferred to another release by the Product Owner and Dev Manager (Note: No high and medium defects can go to production)
    • Responsible to ensure automated test suite is updated in a timely manner
    • Automated smoke tests are run after each code check in
    • All UI pages remain ADA compliant, multi language support, multi browser support
    • Passionate about delivering zero defect code that meet or exceed the proposed defect SLA and have high sense of accountability for quality and timeliness.
      This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Engineering degree with 8 to 14 years of experience in Payment/banking related to domain
Experience in building the automation framework from scratch
6 to 10 years experience in QA Automation
Minimum 5 years experience in Mobile and UI test automation experience (Selenium / Core Java Experience is mandatory)
Minimum 5 years experience in API Automation testing
Knowledge in payment/banking domain is desirable
Proficient in GIT/Stash, Maven, Jenkins etc.
Experience being part of an Agile/Scrum team and following processes.
