AI Platform & Software Engineer

We're looking for a AI Platform & Software Engineer for a media company. Team works in Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend our Recommendation & search back-end;
• Design, develop, run and evaluate online AB-tests to improve the quality of recommenders & search results;
• Support operational excellence through practices like code review and pair programming;
• The entire team is responsible for the operations of our services. This includes actively monitoring different applications and their infrastructure as well as intervening to solve operational problems whenever they arise;
• Build RAG solutions for editorial domain;
• Keep up with developments in the wide field of:

- Recommendations and Machine Learning;

- Information Retrieval (e.g. semantic search).

Requirements

• Expert experience with similar roles and responsibilities;
• English working proficiency (B2+/C1 level);
• Knowledge and experience with AWS, Kafka, Python (FastAPI), SQL, Docker, Spark, ElasticSearch.

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases, collaborative filtering/recommendation systems, semantic search.

Additional information

• Work model: Remote based in Poland;
• Contract: B2B;
• Start: ASAP;
• Rate: up to 180 PLN/h net + vat;
• Project length: 1 year + possible extension.
