Quality Engineer

Responsibilities● Plan, write & execute test cases for the requirements provided.● Ensure 100% test coverage for all functionality & feature sets to be tested.● Thorough documentation of the tests performed & defects logged.● Retesting defects to closure.● Participating in requirement gathering sessions to understand the functionality &customer expectations better.● Come up with innovative ways to test a system for offering the best quality product tothe customer.● Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is usingindustry-accepted best practices.● Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applyingindustry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goalsare met.● Work closely with the business analyst & the customer to understand the business need& ensure that the solutions developed are in line with their vision.Ideal Candidate● 0-1 years of experience in testing & quality assurance● 0-1 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.● Understanding of testing methodologies & all stages of testing.● Experience in testing BPM applications would be a plus.● Experience in automation testing tool would be a plus
