ResMed's Manufacturing NPI function is dedicated to delivering high-quality products to global markets, focusing on all facets of process, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging. As an NPI Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing efficient manufacturing processes from concept to production, ensuring robust and high-yield manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, procure, and commission tooling, equipment, and production systems for new product introductions.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to OH&S guidelines and implementing safety improvements.
• Conduct Process FMEAs and risk assessments to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Provide design for manufacturing feedback to product development teams, ensuring manufacturable and robust products.
• Engage with external suppliers, manage project risks, develop contingencies, and deliver project outcomes on time.
• Develop and maintain production procedures and provide training on new equipment and processes.
• Complete process validation activities and documentation.
• Implement GMP, Six-Sigma, and LEAN improvements.
• Assess and implement new processes, equipment, and technologies for future manufacturing needs.
• Introduce new technology and lean processes to enhance operational efficiency and scalability in line with Industry 4.0.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering or related discipline
• 4-5years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience in semi-automated and high-volume manufacturing.
• Extensive experience in NPI and new technology introduction.
• Strong process engineering skills and ability to solve problems and implement innovative solutions.
• Proficient in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic design for semi-automated machinery.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate with staff at all levels.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Process Development, Risk Management, and Validation.
• Up-to-date with new manufacturing technologies and Industry 4.0 advancements.
