About the role:

Reporting to the Manager of Implementation Quality Assurance, we are seeking a strategic Quality Assurance Expert to ensure seamless SaaS deployments with the highest quality standards. In this role, you will design and execute test plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, and deliver timely software releases that meet customer needs. Additionally, you will mentor junior QA engineers, drive process improvements, and contribute to strategic initiatives, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and technical excellence.

In your day to day you will:

• Design and develop test plans and test cases for software products.
• Analyze business requirements to ensure that customer deployments align with expectations.
• Execute manual tests to verify that Contentsquare’s products meet customer requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Implementation Engineers, Support, R&D, Implementation Consultants, and Customer Success teams to resolve defects, track quality metrics, and ensure timely software releases.
• Stay current with industry trends and recommend new tools and techniques to enhance QA processes.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA Engineers.
• Occasionally join customer calls to offer insights on QA tests conducted.
• Provide recommendations to internal and external customers on best practices for product use.
• Manage tasks on a Jira Kanban board, prioritizing based on urgency.
• Conduct thorough tests according to specifications and provide detailed feedback.
• Identify product bugs and escalate them to support.
• Maintain and develop documentation on processes and best practices.
• Contribute to strategic post-development projects with Implementation Managers and Engineers (e.g., Contentsquare Tag Configurator).

What you'll need to succeed:

• QA course certification or relevant experience; ISTQB certification is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on manual testing.
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive specification documents.
• Experience in creating test plans.
• In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies; familiarity with Jira is a plus.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and effective test cases.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with colleagues from diverse regions.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in both written and spoken English, with the ability to engage with customers professionally.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS, with working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience in testing mobile applications (Android and iOS) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
