Head of Production

Lead the flagship SAEKI factory:

• Implement Production Systems: Establish efficient production systems, processes, and disciplines, including planning, scheduling, and sequencing, to optimize resource utilization and ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
• Hands-On Involvement: Engage actively in all aspects of the manufacturing process daily, gaining a comprehensive understanding of operations.
• Adopt Industry-Leading Practices: Implement best-in-class manufacturing practices across all functions, including manufacturing, finishing, assembly, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure On-Time Delivery and Quality: Take responsibility for on-time delivery, product quality, environmental health and safety (EHS), and the well-being of shop floor staff.
• Enhance Quality Assurance: Develop and refine quality assurance processes, ensuring accountability for delivering exceptional products and services.
• Maintain HSE Standards: Create and uphold health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting staff well-being through effective housekeeping practices (5S).
• Lead and Support the Team: Train, motivate, and guide your team in a fast-paced, demanding environment, focusing on process improvements and problem resolution.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with cross-functional teams to enhance planning, processes, and systems, ultimately improving customer satisfaction.
• Manage Budget and Costs: Oversee budget management and cost control to ensure efficient operations.
• Schedule Activities: Organize production and assembly schedules to meet quality assurance and on-time delivery requirements.
• Promote Company Values: Hold staff accountable for conduct, well-being, and adherence to the company’s values while fostering their development.
• Mentor and Build a Team: Play a crucial role in building and mentoring a high-performing team.
• CNC/Machining Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
• Proven Experience: At least three years of successful experience leading a team in a manufacturing role.
• Project Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading improvement projects in high-demand job lot production environments.
• Emotional Intelligence: Exceptional leadership abilities with a talent for managing people and driving change.
• Delegation Skills: Proficient in delegating responsibilities while maintaining control over branch operations and customer service.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with business productivity software and a willingness to learn new applications.
• Production Process Expertise: Deep understanding of production processes and related quality management systems.
• Software Knowledge: Working knowledge of relevant software tools, including MES, MPS, and MRP systems.
• Quality Understanding: Experience in a business that has sustained or achieved ISO 9001 certification.
• Cost Control Skills: Strong capabilities in cost management and control.
• Shop Floor Experience: Hands-on experience working directly on the shop floor.
• CNC Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Fusion or similar CNC machining software.
• 3D Printing Experience: Beneficial experience in large-scale production of 3D printing.
