Software Engineer

Join our team and you’ll be responsible for improving FlashPost - The Network’s job multi-posting tool. Working with The Network organization you will analyse, design, implement and verify changes to the FlashPost tool. This is so important to us. By joining our team, you will be playing a vital role as together we reimagine the labour market to make it work for everybody.

Your responsibilities:

• Development of new features in our application
• Troubleshooting reported issues
• Finding the best way to implement business requirements
• Writing automated tests
• Analysing and verifying application updates

Requirements

• Several years of experience using the Java-stack
• Knowledge of dependency injection, software design patterns and continuous integration
• Experience using relational databases
• Some experience using frontend technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS)
• Language skills: English (B2)
• Nice to have experience with:
  • Spring Framework
  • Hibernate
  • MySQL and React
  • REST APIs
  • AWS
  • Docker
  • Selenium
