As a Quality Lab Engineer, you’ll be responsible for executing the reliability testplan and keeping our reliability test plan up and running within budget and at the right quality level.

What you’ll do

• Testing & reporting : Execute Reliability tests according to standards. Reports the results.
• Standards: Keep knowledge of existing and upcoming standards and testing methods up-to-date. Perform validations. Work according to ISO 17025.
• Equipment:
  • Maintain and update test facilities according to the standards. Define new test set-ups.
  • Ensure correct operation, safety and quality of testing equipment, e.g. performing verifications and calibrations.
  • Maintains lab workspaces
• Pro-active communication with customers and / or project teams regarding planning, ensuring timely start, performing the tests and giving updates on results
  • Initiate and participate in the improvement processes of the group and generate proposals for improvement.
  • Actively and jointly plan and re-plan the use of testing facilities and setups for customer projects, and accurately log real use hours so that they can be invoiced.

Your qualifications

• Associate degree (MBO+) or equivalent experience in Electrical / electronics background
• Familiar with Reliability standards for Lighting applications, familiar with ISO 17025
• Be able to document test results clearly and communicate with customers.
• Team player who takes responsibility for deadlines and product testing of customers
