Senior Network Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, as well as hands-on experience with network devices and security measures. The Senior Network Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network stability, security, and optimal performance across various environments. Responsibilities include troubleshooting network issues, optimizing network performance, and contributing to network architecture and strategy.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering.

- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and technologies (VPN, VLAN, NAT, etc.).

- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.

- Proficiency in router and switch configuration, especially Cisco devices.

- Strong understanding of network security best practices, including firewall management and intrusion prevention.

- Ability to analyze and improve network performance, reliability, and security.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Relevant certifications (Cisco CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) are highly preferred.
