Functional Test Engineer - Data Platform

About the Role

We’re looking for a Functional Test Engineer to join our Data Platform team. The Data Platform team support all data functions and operations across RWWA. Supporting Core databases, Data Lakes and warehouses as well as supporting critical business reporting to assist with data driven decision making. Ensuring data is available, reliable and secure is our core objective.

What we’re looking for…

Someone who is passionate about continuous testing, enthusiastic about testing technology and is willing to bring fresh ideas to the way that we work.

About You

To be an awesome fit for us you will need:

• A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in Software Test Automation
• Excellent knowledge in testing methodologies and test practices
• Proven experience in the design and execution of automated test scripts across the following:
  • Data Warehouse Testing
  • Automated Web Service & API Testing
  • Experience in a range of Open Source Software exposure
• Strong knowledge and experience with SQL/database
• Experience with modern web frameworks, tools, and technologies
• Experience of working in an agile, fast-paced environment
