About the Role:

Looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will be responsible for automated (mostly) and sometimes manual end to end testing web applications. As a Sr QA Engineer you will be part of a team responsible for delivering high quality web application software and you will contribute to delivering reliable, scalable and stable releases. You will play an active role in the day-to-day developing, execution of software test plans, planning, sustaining, execution of manual and automated tests by following QA best practices and troubleshooting issues and work closely with development teams to resolve problems.

What You Will Do in This Role will

· Automated testing websites which are on Adobe AEM platform.

· Test websites across different devices using exploratory techniques.

· Build, Design, Execute and Document automated tests.

· Write automation, performance tests in any scripting languages.

· Perform planned and ad-hoc manual testing as an when needed.

· Identify and automate appropriate test cases using tools & QA frameworks.

· Participate in meetings & reviews with customers and team members.

· Work closely with cross functional team to get the requirements for testing type.

· Investigate bugs by using available application and server logs, browser developer tools (Firebug, etc.), databases, and other tools and resources.

· Support deployments and maintenance activities.

· Mentor any junior team members and give technical advice and direction.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

· Education: Bachelor’s in computer science or related field (5+ years experience) or Master’s (3+ years experience).

· Experience: 6+ years in programming and automation testing; familiarity with CMS (AEM preferred).

· Programming Languages: Proficient in Java (preferred), Perl, Ruby, Python, JavaScript.

· Testing Frameworks: Knowledge of JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, Robot Framework, JMeter.

· Web Applications: Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, REST APIs, and SEO principles.

· QA Skills: Strong skills in test planning, case development, defect analysis, automation, and various testing types (unit, regression, smoke, end-to-end).

· Methodologies: Familiarity with SDLC and QA practices; experience in cross-browser and mobile testing.

· Tools: Hands-on with Jira, Jenkins, Git, Confluence, and CI/CD processes.

· Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities; capable of independent work.

· Bonus Skills: Automation with AEM, SQL, mobile automation (Appium, Xcode), performance testing, and experience with tools like Sauce Labs and Applitools.
