About the role

PAR Ordering is looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join one of our six cross-functional domain teams. In this role, you’ll be working on a high-traffic, high-data cloud-based infrastructure, developing and optimizing a centralized API, and integrating third-party applications and SDKs.

We need someone who brings deep technical expertise and experience working in fast-paced, high-demand environments. You’ll be proactive in tackling challenges, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. Ownership of your work and a commitment to the success of the project are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate well with your team. What You will Do and Be Responsible For:

• Write clean and maintainable PHP code using OOP design patterns in an agile development environment
• Design and develop REST APIs that ensure fast and smooth product development
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the software platform and databases to ensure functionality and optimize performance
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and cooperate with other team members to deliver features efficiently and on time

Must have:

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience
• Understanding of PHP programming language, object-oriented programming concepts, and relational database systems (MySQL)
• SOLID principles, understanding Software Architecture, excellent knowledge of Data Structures
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks, preferably Laravel
• Experience in using third-party libraries and APIs as well as integrating remote services according to REST principles
• Experience in working on a large project/team in an Agile environment using Scrum methodologies, with exposure to well-designed APIs, high data flow, efficient algorithms
• Great problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization, quality, and performance
• Fluency in English - both written and verbal

Good to have:

• Knowledge of Redis JSON
• Previous experience with enterprise companies
