We are looking for an exceptional Life & Health Sales professional, with proven software sales experience to come and join our Sales team.

This is a new role within INSTANDA with a simple goal: to generate exponential growth in revenue and client accounts in the Global Life & Health business, following an extremely successful business launch in 2023/2024.

This role isUK based, primarily remote working with some travel required to our London Office.

What you will do

You will build on the success generated in 2023/24 and leverage the unique INSTANDA platform and specific propositions developed for the Life & Health sectors. Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a clear sales pipeline that includes the methodology to move opportunities from leads to sales. This includes definition of sales stages, % probability of close by stage, criteria for stage advancement, involvement of key sales resources in each stage, and accurate opportunity forecasting.
  • Developing and executing the sales process, ensuring deals have clear pursuit strategies, stakeholder plans, appropriate internal resources to win, and professional sales presentations/proposals.
  • Creating and executing marketing plans with the Head of Marketing
  • Generating networks within the sectors, including with your own and our partner networks
  • Collaborating with technical pre-sales, solutions, delivery and IT teams to align to client needs as part of the sales cycle
  • Leading contract negotiation sessions with the client and key internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively reviewing sales performance vs sales plan, creating a detailed plan to manage revenue that is at risk.
  • Identifying additional sales related introducers and partner channels to expand the opportunity network; technology partners, influencers, potential resellers.

Requirements

  • Extensive sales and/or consulting experience at executive level resulting in proven client & revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of the Insurance sector, ideally spanning Life insurance and/or Health insurance markets.
  • You will have a proven record of identifying client opportunities and converting them into contracted sales revenue.
  • You are a strong communicator with great customer engagement skills.
  • We operate a fast-paced environment and you’ll need the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • We’ll be looking to you to illustrate to us your ability to be organised and prioritise.
  • You will have an active desire to increase exposure to new technologies and a passion for self-learning.
  • Proven track record in lead generation and sales for software in a digital context, ideally within the life, pensions or health sectors.
  • Strong consulting and relationship building skills, both with clients and internally within the organisation.
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks at the same time and be able to work with Execs (C Suite) as well as technology, solutions and junior staff within clients and INSTANDA.
  • Understanding of technology with an ability to connect client requirements to INSTANDA solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas simply for Executive overview as well as detailed requirements.
  • Strong team work ethic but a proven ability to take and make decisions with key internal and external decision makers.
  • SaaS and Policy Administration experience would be advantageous.
