As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, what are you going to do?

• Design, implement and maintain VB Application Lifecycle Management;
• Create and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations;
• Propagate Continuous Delivery, best practices and process automation all around the company;
• Advocate of the DevOps mindset and self-servicing infrastructure;
• Be allergic to manual tasks and in love with automation;
• Design high-availability scenarios and operate complex solutions.

What are the skills and professional experience we’re expecting from you?

• At least 3 years of experience working in a similar position;
• Solid understanding of the full compute stack: storage, networking, OS, virtualization, containerization, orchestration, configuration management and provisioning;
• Understanding of data stream platforms, message brokers and queues, and securely exposing APIS;
• Solid knowledge and proven experience in automation development in public cloud environments;
• Experienced with technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Vault, Consul, Prometheus, ELK and others alike;
• Proven experience designing and delivering solutions in public clouds such as Azure (must) AWS and GCP (nice to have)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools in the likes of GitLab CI, Jenkins and Nexus;
• Proficiency in English.
