🍊Our mission

All new medicines need to undergo clinical trials to show they’re safe and effective. But today’s clinical trial infrastructure is stuck in the past, and the cost of developing new medicines has skyrocketed as a result. Patients have to wait longer and pay more for new treatments.

Our mission is to fix this; we use software to help innovative companies run faster, more reliable, and patient-friendly clinical trials. We’re still a young company, but we’ve already had a big impact. Since founding the company in March 2021 we’ve helped run over 80 clinical trials involving tens of thousands of patients, with a customer NPS of 100.

We recently raised a $18m Series A round from some great investors including Creandum, Peter Thiel and Firstminute to power the next stage of our growth.

🍊About the role

We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Product Designer to help us improve and expand our digital platform called Citrus, which we use to run end-to-end clinical trials faster, with higher data quality, and with better oversight of patient safety.

Lindus Health is expanding into more complex clinical trials. In order to run these trials safely and efficiently on Citrus, we need to expand, add new functionality (e.g. safety oversight) and engage with new user groups (e.g. site staff at sites in multiple countries). The right candidate will help us deliver new functionality while keeping the platform simple and user friendly.

You’ll work closely with our Product team, consisting of two (Senior) Product Designers, Head of Product and VP of Product, and our Engineering team. You will also work directly with users of Citrus, including our internal Clinical Operations and Medical teams, as well as study participants, study sponsors, and clinical site staff.

We’d like to hear from you if…

• You are senior: you have 3+ years of experience designing complex digital products, can work independently and figure out what is important to users.
• You are an all-rounder: your proficiency spans the entire design lifecycle, from initial discovery to final launch.
• You are product minded: you show strong product thinking, can turn complex problems into simple solutions, and enjoy taking on responsibilities that touch on / veer into product management, like early discovery and problem definition.
• You are collaborative: You excel at teamwork, offering constructive feedback and fostering positive team dynamics. This extends to collaborating cross-functionally, leading UX research projects and effectively engaging with users, engineers and other stakeholders.
• You want to have impact: You have the desire to revolutionise healthcare and contribute to accelerating the development of new medical treatments. You are excited by the prospect of joining a rapidly expanding, mission-driven startup that is backed by venture capital.

Nice to haves

• Design experience in health tech sector, or experience designing in the context of complex data-rich systems
• Experience with data visualisation

🍊What you’ll focus on

• Product discovery: you will identify opportunities to improve Citrus by performing user research with ClinOps and physicians, gather clinical requirements (including regulatory considerations) and ideate potential solutions. For example, you will speak with our research nurses to understand how we can make their workflow more efficient while meeting compliance needs.
• Validation of prototypes and feedback: you will validate solutions by developing and testing prototypes with users and synthesising survey results. For example, you may run focus groups with physicians testing prototypes for a new safety monitoring feature.
• Product delivery: you will collaborate with engineers and provide instructions and context so they can efficiently build the solution. You may spend time talking to engineers to understand technical constraints for a new feature, or doing a walk through of your design documentation.
• Design function: you will contribute to development of our design systems, continuous discovery, and improvement of the way our Design practices.

• Design Exercise & Functional Interview with Rogier, VP Product and Lichelle (60 minutes)
• Culture and values interview with 2 team members (30 minutes)
