Junior FOIA Analyst

TechOp Solutions International is on the lookout for a motivated Junior FOIA Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a trusted provider of FOIA services, we help our government clients navigate the complexities of Freedom of Information requests with integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing FOIA and Privacy Act requests promptly and accurately.
• Support data entry, maintain records, and manage the backlog of requests.
• Prepare correspondence and ensure all documentation is correctly uploaded to the FOIA tracking system.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external agencies regarding the status of FOIA inquiries.
• As required conduct research and provide analytical support for FOIA policy implementation.
• Convert paper records into electronic formats for efficient tracking.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in FOIA processing or related field.
• Strong understanding of FOIA regulations and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in research and analytical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite and FOIA tracking software.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract requirements.
