We are seeking a resourceful strategic sourcing manager to develop and implement improved strategic sourcing policies and processes within our North American Customer Service Business Unit. You will be creating cost savings and value creation opportunities, negotiating cost-effective contract pricing with key suppliers, and overseeing our Customer Service sourcing team. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $92,250-$135,300 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skill

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

• Provide guidance and professional development to the BU Strategic Sourcing team ensuring training and implementation of Strategic Sourcing skills processes including; Analytics and Insights, Negotiation Training, Project Management and Operational Excellence.
• Develop, monitor and control the execution of strategic purchasing strategies for Customer Service.
• Analyze risks and opportunities in the strategic purchasing process.
• Review strategies directed by Global Category leaders and execute strategies based on the Customer Service requirements and needs. Implement any changes in the supplier base based on proposals from Category leaders of analysis of market conditions and pricing.
• Lead others in solving complex analytical problems.
• Strategically negotiate complex details and use sound judgment and initiative in making decisions.
• Build and facilitate relationships at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
• Redirect managers and teams toward new ideas and approaches in work methods in rapidly changing conditions.
• Ability to communicate a strategic vision effectively and clearly.
• Promote the process-based approach and risk-based thinking including improvement in the strategic purchasing process, ensuring that information and recommendations from audits, other assessments and management reviews are communicated to the responsible persons, acting as the champion in purchasing improvement projects.

What We are Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field strongly preferred. Will consider experience in strategic procurement role.
• 5 to 10 years in the procurement area (strategic purchasing, purchasing, supply chain or experience related to the supply chain).
• Experience and knowledge in managing in managing in a Distribution, Warehouse and/or customer service-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
• Advanced Excel and Power Point knowledge and experience.
• Experience with lean six sigma and continuous improvement projects preferred.
• Experience in project-based manufacturing environment is a plus.
